The Salina Arts and Humanities Commission is getting a new image. First, it's dropped the word "commission" from its title, which is reflected on a new logo created by a Kansas City, Mo., branding and marketing company.

Arts and Humanities Council gets grant to continue funding events

Statewide budget cuts took a hit everywhere and really left organizations in the arts wondering what would happen. Fortunately, the money still came through for the Lawton Arts and Humanities Council. The council puts on events like the International Festival each year.
